Good way to get a shit load of ideas thrown onto the table by the worlds largest mtb community. Could get tons of useful market data from everyone's views, opinions, trends etc. Hopefully some great product will come of this. It certainly wont do any of the involved businesses any harm!

This article could have been really good, but its let down by multiple errors which I hope the riders older then 14 out there can spot too!!! The sweeping generalisations made and just the way it written makes me sad, and asking Aggy about the history and place of freeride when he's a young gun coming from a snowboard background (not mtb) and using him as a spokesman for the mtb community seems a mistake right? Anyone fancy a re-write of what could of been a good topic to cover?

Yeah because R&D on a product established on an existing line of products but using differnt materials is going to warrant such a ridiculous price hike!!! Have you actually looked into the cost of producing carbon fibre moulded products? both in tooling up and material costs?!?!?! its really not that much comparitivley and its nothing radical, especialy given that this will be massed produced (admititdly less than lower models) Also I come from a manufacturing and engineering background... Manufacture changes the material to carbon= excuse to double the price... boom cash-in time :) PEACE

Build quality looks poor considering the price tag... Ch-Ching for Leatt!!!
